Relief Rx® Original Psoriasis Treatment contains pure Bokek® Dead Sea Salt which is safe for sensitive skin. Bokek Dead Sea Salt contains 21 minerals including magnesium, potassium, calcium and bromine that are not found in ocean sea salts. The concentration of Sodium is only 12-18% compared to other lakes and oceans that can be as high as 97%. The low percentage of sodium makes Dead Sea Salt gentle and less irritating to the skin.
This thermal sealed pouch is a single dose, perfect for one therapeutic bath. Simply tear open the plastic pouch and pour into your tub. It is recommended that the treatment be used 3-4 times a week. Suggested Directions
Dead Sea salts are clinically proven to provide relief from Psoriasis symptoms when utilized in a recommended treatment regimen. Follow the suggestions below to experience the healing effects of the Dead Sea for yourself.*
Initial Treatment:
1. Take 3-4 baths per week using one 2.2 lb bag of Relief Rx or Relief Rx Plus salt per bath. Research shows that this concentration is necessary to start changing the skin's chemistry.
2. The bath water temperature should be approximately 2 degrees warmer than the temperature of your body. This creates a healing bath, perfect for mineral absorption (hot water can cause the skin to dry out).
3. Dissolve the bath salts in water & soak for 30 minutes.
4. After bathing, rinse your skin with clear running water. Pat skin dry, and wrap in a robe or warm blanket to rest for 30 minutes.
Maintenance Program:
After the severity of the symptoms subsides, take 1-2 baths weekly. Soak for 30 minutes. Rinse skin with clear running water. Towel dry, and apply moisturizer as normal.
